Easy Dinner Alert! London Broil with Mushrooms

As I sat at my desk working away this afternoon, I began to smell something wonderful making its way into the office—-it was dinner!  I forgot that I had put something in the crockpot for us to eat tonight.  It was a great pick-me-up in the middle of my work time to know that later I would just have to get the side dishes together and sit down to a family meal.  Everyone liked this dish so it is a four smiley face one.  I know some of you might not like mushrooms and therefore may not have even made it this far into the post….but I think you could use cream of celery rather than cream of mushroom and then just leave out the jar of mushrooms.

Easy London Broil with Mushrooms

Mix together:

  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Rub onto:

  • one London Broil (around 1 1/2 pounds)

Place meat into the crockpot.

In a bowl combine:

  • 1 small jar of mushrooms- drained.
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • pepper to taste

Pour the soup mixture over the meat.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours.

I then made some rice to serve with the London Broil and soak up the soup mixture and we had steamed broccoli and crescent rolls.

What an easy meal—enjoy!
